First Annual Career Day!
At the Academy we know there are so many careers in basketball outside of actually playing. And we wanted to show our students their options. We invited presenters who have careers that are tied to their love and knowledge of basketball. We had a great event on the Kyrie Irving Family court where our presenters spoke to the students.
We had NCAA refs, AAU program owners, High School Coaches, lawyers, wealth managers just to mention a few. Every single one of them made an imprint on each student.
To all the presenters:Thanks for taking time out of your life to come talk to us and show us your basketball related career!
Coach Darrell Wright from Just4kidsNJ said that as he loves his job as a AAU coach and program owner he feels like he has not worked a day in his life. That’s what’s we want for our student athletes!
